Comment: Greetings Brethren. I am Treasurer of Fenwick Lodge 1389 in the Province of Durham England. I found your website very interesting - in particular the fact that your founder was born in Newcastle which is only 10 miles away from where we are in Sunderland.Our Lodge was founded in 1872 named after a Sir Henry Fenwick who was a Sunderland MP and was appointed 4th Sea Lord of the Admiralty. We have therefore very strong connections with sea going brethren and indeed we sing "For those in Peril on the Sea" as part of our toast to absent brethren. Your motto is similar to ours. Iam going to try to do a little more research to see if there are any firmer connections between our Lodges. There are not that many called Fenwick.
